Poker Aces – the right way to gamble them

Poker Aces references two aces being dealt before theflop. It’s the best possible pre-flop hand intexas hold’em Poker. But regardless a large number of gamblers end up on the losing end when dealt these cards.

When you are given a pair of Aces, you just don’t fold pre-flop. You’re positioned with the greatest possible hand at this part of the game. So how do you gamble with Poker Aces ? Do you basically go all-in? I would say definitely no to that.

Remember, you are trying to earn as much profit out of this strong position. You want to maximize the opportunity. Going all-in will merely scare most players into folding and not laying a wager.

If you’re in the initial spot (first or second to wager), you’ll place a single wager. Any person with a decent hand will call, hopefully someone might raise. If there has been a raise don’t jump to re-raise or call, pause for a small bit – make them think you’re considering your options and then call.

After the flop your plan will be to get rid of any player that might get a straight or a flush. So I would start to raise boldly, if you are lucky you’ll trick 1 player into thinking that you’re bluffing.

If you’re in the middle or later seat (one of the last to cast your bet) you will observe as everybody calls and then raise. Even with you holding a pair of aces, if you can try to avoid a show-down. Protect your hand by forcing the other players drop out after the flop. If you don’t drive out your competitors you chance squandering your hand.
